Innova Star Destroyer – Ricky Wysocki Raptor – Yellow, 175 g, Condition: C+/B-

The Innova Star Destroyer – Ricky Wysocki Raptor is an older production signature version of one of Innova's most well-known distance drivers. The Destroyer with the Raptor stamp was released as Ricky Wysocki's signature disc, and Innova discontinued the Raptor version in 2020 when shifting to new Wysocki stamps. It is therefore now an Out of Production edition.

With flight ratings of 12 | 5 | -1 | 3, the Destroyer offers plenty of distance potential, controlled turn, and a strong, reliable final fade. It is designed especially for players who have enough arm speed to utilize a fast distance driver.

⭐ Star plastic

Star is one of Innova's most popular premium plastics, combining good grip, a pleasant feel, and excellent durability. It is well-suited for active driver use and retains its flight characteristics significantly longer than DX plastic.

🦖 Ricky Wysocki Raptor

The Raptor stamp is associated with Ricky Wysocki's first years at Innova. In 2020, Innova announced they would discontinue the production of Raptor Destroyers and replace them with new SockiBot and signature stamps. This makes the Raptor version a more interesting older production item than a standard stock Star Destroyer.

🚀 Classic distance driver

The Destroyer's speed 12 and glide 5 provide plenty of distance. The -1 turn helps the disc move forward in the middle phase of the flight, while the 3-fade brings it back reliably at the end.

💪 For backhand and forehand

The Destroyer handles power well and is suitable for both strong backhand and forehand drives. It works well on long hyzer lines, flex shots, and situations where a driver needs both distance and a reliable finish.

The yellow color gives the disc a look that stands out well on the course. The 175-gram weight is effectively the maximum weight for a Destroyer and offers a firm feel and good control. The PDGA-approved maximum weight for a Destroyer is 175.1 grams.

Condition: C+/B-

The disc has plenty of signs of use and clearly visible wear, but it is still a perfectly usable disc for play. Star plastic Destroyers generally become easier to turn as they are broken in, so the flight path of this specific disc might be straighter and easier to utilize than a new Raptor Destroyer.
